Seahorses (Reception)

Welcome to Team Seahorses!

We are a Reception class and our Teacher is Mrs.Hemming and our Teaching assistant is Mrs.Warren.

Topic- Can you travel on a journey and beyond?

PE Days: Track suit Wednesday and Friday.  We play tennis and learn how to control the ball and volley.

Wednesday is our PE lesson when we are starting to use the large apparatus in the hall including wall bars and climbing rings. We also enjoy Dance . As the weather improves we are playing  a variety of outside games using hoops, balls and bean bags.

Greenfingers: We enjoy wearing our wellies and waterproofs to explore our local area.We investigate the world around us and learn about how things live and grow.

Library Days: - we enjoy listening to a story in the library and choosing a variety of books for our classroom libraries.

Computing: Seahorses enjoy using a range of programmable toys.

Planners: Please read with your child every night and write a comment in their planner.

Home Learning: Daily reading,free news books,handwriting and Maths challenge cards.
