Have a look at some of the learning we have been doing below:

Team Zebras have been having fun experimenting with vinegar and bicarbonate of soda. We made predictions and analysed what we saw.

We have been measuring like mad in Team Zebras! We have been learning how to measure in centimetres using a ruler; how to measure the volume of a liquid using millilitres and how to measure the weight of an object in grams.

We have been working really hard on our number skills - looking at number bonds, addition and subtraction. Super number sentences Zebras!

We have been reading the story of 'We're going on a Bear Hunt' by Michael Rosen. We have sequenced the story, re-told the story, thought about how the bear felt and we even got to go on our very own bear hunt in Stanley Park!

We really enjoyed our trip to the Cutty Sark as part of our 'Explorers' topic - thanks to all of the mums who came and helped out!

The charity which Team Zebras are supporting during My Money Week is The Diamond Centre. We were lucky enough to have two horses, Daisy and Polly, come and visit us from the Diamond Centre! We will be selling lots of lovely things at our charity sale on Friday 10th February - come along and help us to support an amazing charity.

We had a great time travelling back in time to the Victorian era and learning all about how they lived including: the games that they played, how they washed their clothes and how strict the Victorian teachers were!

It was very exciting when aliens invaded our playground! They left messages and alien slime and wanted to find out more about the human body so we had to make labelled diagrams to show them. The aliens were really grateful and thanked us for all of our hard work.

As part of our science topic we have been learning about our senses. We took part in a senses carousel, including: guessing the flavour of the water using our sense of taste; guessing the flavour of crisps using our sense of smell; finding hidden pictures using our sense of sight; guessing the object in the mystery box using our sense of touch and guessing the object in the tube using our sense of hearing. We had lots of fun using our senses!

As part of our Time Travellers topic, we have been learning about different toys that children played with throughout the ages. Zebras were interested in the puppets that Victorian children played with, so we made our own puppets to take home - they looked great!
