School-Led After School Club - Bumbles
The school has a commitment to providing excellent wrap around care with facilities that support both parents and children's needs. In September 2022 the school opened a school-led after school provision to meet the needs of the school community.
Bumbles has up to 30 places starting straight from school until 5.00pm during term time. Bumbles is not open on INSET days or early finish times on the last day of a school term.
We offer a snack of fruit and a biscuit (not chocolate), accompanied by a drink of milk, fruit juice, or water.
We provide a variety of play activities – jigsaws, construction, art, playdough, role play, board games, floor games etc. The activities are varied each day in order that all the children can enjoy a varied spectrum of play. All staff are qualified or experienced in either Childcare or Playwork and First Aid.
Children must be pre-registered for Bumbles; there is a daily fee of £8.00 per child per session or £10.50 per child per session for ad-hoc sessions. It is important that children are booked to attend and that payment is made in advance via Parent Pay. We accept payments via Childcare vouchers, the school's Ofsted reference number is 145385

- To meet the special care needs of parents and children from the school community
- To provide a range of structured and unstructured activities to meet the growing social, emotional and intellectual needs of children outside school
- To provide an environment to enable children to play and learn together regardless of race, gender, ethnicity and special educational need.
